Video description
Falcon Heavy lifts off, the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two, with the ability to lift more than twice the payload of the next vehicle, at one-third the cost. Only the Saturn V moon rocket, last flown in 1973, delivered more payload to orbit.

Three cores make up the first stage of Falcon Heavy. The side cores, or boosters, are connected to the center core at its base and at the vehicle’s interstage. Falcon Heavy’s three cores are capable of generating more than 5 million pounds of thrust. For this test flight, Falcon Heavy’s two side cores are both flight-proven. One launched the Thaicom 8 satellite in May 2016 and the other supported the CRS-9 mission in July 2016.

Following booster separation, Falcon Heavy’s two side cores will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zones 1 and 2 (LZ-1 and LZ-2) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. Falcon Heavy’s center core will attempt to land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The payload for Falcon Heavy’s demonstration mission is SpaceX CEO and Lead Designer Elon Musk’s midnight-cherry Tesla Roadster. Demonstration missions like this one typically carry steel or concrete blocks as mass simulators, but SpaceX decided it would be more worthwhile to launch something fun and without irreplaceable sentimental value: a red Roadster for the red planet. Following launch, Falcon Heavy’s second stage will attempt to place the Roadster into a precessing Earth-Mars elliptical orbit around the sun.

Shuttle's Boosters Recovered in HD

NASA has released the first ever up-close, high-definition video of Kennedy Space Center's solid rocket booster (SRB) recovery ships retrieving SRB segments from the Atlantic Ocean following a space shuttle launch. The unprecedented video is from the launch of the most recent shuttle mission, STS-133, Discovery's final flight, on Feb. 24. Following each space shuttle launch, crew members of Liberty Star and Freedom Star pull the spent boosters out of the ocean and return them to Hangar AF at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Once they are processed, the boosters are transported to Utah, where they are refurbished and...

Apollo 11 Saturn V Launch Camera E-8

This clip is raw from Camera E-8 on the launch umbilical tower/mobile launch program of Apollo 11, July 16, 1969. This is an HD transfer from the 16mm original. Even more excellent footage is available on our DVDs at our website at http://www.spacecraftfilms.com The camera is running at 500 fps, making the total clip of over 8 minutes represent just 30 seconds of actual time.

Falcon Heavy and the Tesla Roadster Orbits, A Prediction

[Update: The roadster ended up going into a more eccentric orbit than predicted in this video, making it considerably further out than Mars orbit!] Clearing up some misconceptions about transfer orbits I've seen floating around (get it?) in the discussion of the Falcon Heavy and its Tesla Roadster payload. Also logging my prediction about where the roadster will end up. Any predictions, opinions, speculation or errors in this video are my own and do not reflect the views of any other party.

VIDEO DESCRIPTION: On February 6, SpaceX launched their new “Falcon Heavy” Rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. In a spectacular and very media-effective stunt they sent a “midnight-cherry-red" Tesla Roadster as test-payload on it’s way into deep space. The rocket has the ability to put more than 140,000 pounds of cargo into the lower earth orbit, much more than...

Google Earth Is Lying

What If All You knew about Earth, Your Country, Your State, Your City and Your Neighborhood was a Lie?!?! A few years ago you could find sources other than GOOGLE for maps, distances, travel times and more. But now it seems GOOGLE controls it ALL. So How Do you Beat Them when they own the game? You have to get down and dirty and put in hundreds of hours of research and use THEIR Lies Against THEM!

Will the Falcon 9 actually be reusable or just refurbish-able like the Space Shuttle?

The Falcon 9. The world’s FIRST reusable rocket. Wait. No it’s not. Do you remember the Space Shuttle? It had those solid rocket boosters and the orbiter, which were both reusable weren’t they? Well, today we’re going to talk about why the Space Shuttle failed to actually be reusable and wound up being described with a more accurate word, refurbish-able. People often cite the shortcomings of the Space Shuttle and are quick to point it to SpaceX’s claims of the Falcon 9 booster being reusable. So today we’re going to look at what it took to get the space shuttle operational...

Elon Musk wants to go to the Moon!!

Elon Musk wants to go to the Moon!! Elon Musk hopes to see manned Moon outpost before Humans set foot on the Red Planet. Even though Elon’s focus is Mars, he also sees the imperative in human returning to the Moon. "To really get the public real fired up, I think we've got to have a base on the moon," Elon Musk said at the International Space Station Research and Development (ISSR&D) conference in Washington, D.C. "Having some permanent presence on another heavenly body, which would be the kind of moon base, and then getting people to Mars and beyond —...

Compilation of crazy crowd reactions to twin Falcon Heavy booster landing.

This is the closest thing you'll see today to people witnessing an alien spaceship landing. "Following liftoff, the two side boosters separate from the center core and return to landing sites for future reuse. The center core, traveling further and faster than the side boosters, also returns for reuse, but lands on a drone ship located in the Atlantic Ocean." A Tesla Roadster in Orbit: Not The Only Electric Motor in Space.

SpaceX adding a Tesla Roadster in its cargo has generated a lot of interest in electric motors. What ExpovistaTV found out is that there is a parallel between the electrification of cars on Earth and the electrification of spacecrafts in orbit. Electric propulsion in space has been around for 50 years, but new technologies will soon allow lower missions cost, more space for cargo and, therefore, future space missions to further distances to explore comets, asteroids planets and more. Here is how the electrification of space is taking place. Produced by: ExpovistaTV Video Sources: SpaceX (reuse allowed) NASA (reuse allowed) Special Thanks to...

FALCON HEAVY LAUNCH ANIMATION HD 2018 - TESLA ROADSTER!

When Falcon Heavy lifts off, it will be the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two. With the ability to lift into orbit nearly 64 metric tons (141,000 lb)---a mass greater than a 737 jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel--Falcon Heavy can lift more than twice the payload of the next closest operational vehicle, the Delta IV Heavy, at one-third the cost. Falcon Heavy's first stage is composed of three Falcon 9 nine-engine cores whose 27 Merlin engines together generate more than 5 million pounds of thrust at liftoff, equal to approximately eighteen...

Space Shuttle Launch Audio - play LOUD (no music) HD 1080p

- - Created through FAIR USE for educational purposes - - STS-121 You need a sound system with a lot of power and a great sub (turned up to house shaking level) to get the right effect of this video. I made this for all the people who dreamed of seeing a launch in person but were never able to make the trip themselves. Using dozens of different video sources and countless audio versions of Shuttle launches I mixed this little clip together to mimic as close an experience to the real thing as I could. I know that the...

Rockets Do Not Go To Space - Audio of Eyewitness Account

THOUSANDS OF ROCKETS FOUND IN THE OCEAN: http://www.livescience.com/55795-colonial-age-shipwrecks-found-off-florida-coast.html THE AUDIO IN THIS CLIP IS MY FOCUS NOT THE VIDEO - CLEARLY. There is no HD video of a rocket going all the way to space or coming back from space from ground based observers. This alone tells the tale of fake rocket launches which have gone on since the 1960s. People are waking up and going out to challenge the lies and in this case lies we all paid for. Rockets do no go to space; they land in the ocean or well out of view of the public that...

SpaceX Falcon 9 Booster with Max Damage Returns to Launch Complex 39A

The SpaceX Falcon 9 booster that lofted JCSAT-14 to Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) on May 6 is now back at SpaceX's hangar at Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The rocket booster was moved on Saturday May 14 and towed at 10 mph through Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The shots I have show the damage the booster sustained. It is clear that this booster received the maximum damage out of the three that SpaceX brought back to the Cape. The payload reached a final altitude of about 36,000 km (~22,400 miles) and the rocket landed on...

Elon Musk on how Falcon Heavy will change space travel

SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida yesterday carrying its first payload -- a red Tesla roadster -- into orbit. Loren Grush spoke to CEO Elon Musk about the launch and what this means for the future of space travel, as well as Planetary Society CEO Bill Nye. The Falcon Heavy now holds the title for the world’s most powerful rocket, and its launch marks the first time a vehicle this massive has ever been sent up by a commercial company. Castle Island Proves Definitively Passenger Airplanes aren't landing at speeds we are taught!

Castle Island Proves Definitively Passenger airplanes aren't landing at speeds we are taught! I went to Castle Island in Boston to watch some airplanes. I was able to calculate speed by known objects nearby the airport including the airport itself. Please look at this evidence within this video. I was there for 4 hours and got a lot of proof that 737 planes aren't traveling at landing speeds we are told. I also did not see any A-380 or Dream liners while spending 4 hours at Castle Island. To me this it's conclusive that we are lied to about the travel...

Tesla Roadster + Starman in Space, Orbiting Earth

Spending some time waiting for the boost that will move him to his final orbit. Starman is listening to David Bowie's "Life on Mars" but Youtube will mute it if I try adding that to this video. So, instead it's now "Mystery Sax" by Kevin MacLeod, another fantastic earth-based genius whom I'd like to thank for being so generous as to let people use his music for stuff like this. This video is played at 4x the speed from the live feed. Why SpaceX did experimental attempt to catch rocket nose cone after Falcon launch? In depth analysis

SpaceX tries to catch rocket nose cone after Falcon 9 launch Why SpaceX did experimental attempt to catch rocket nose cone after Falcon launch? In depth analysis WHY SPACEX DID EXPERIMENTAL ATTEMPT TO CATCH ROCKET NOSE CONE AFTER FALCON LAUNCH? Introduction You've heard of SpaceX landing and reusing rockets. But safely recapturing the $6 million nose cone that sits at the tip of the rocket? Yes, that could happen too. Shortly after launch, SpaceX was going to make another experimental attempt to guide the rocket's nose cone, also called a payload fairing, onto a passenger ship outfitted with a giant net. But later...
