Video description
Falcon Heavy lifts off, the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two, with the ability to lift more than twice the payload of the next vehicle, at one-third the cost. Only the Saturn V moon rocket, last flown in 1973, delivered more payload to orbit.

Three cores make up the first stage of Falcon Heavy. The side cores, or boosters, are connected to the center core at its base and at the vehicle’s interstage. Falcon Heavy’s three cores are capable of generating more than 5 million pounds of thrust. For this test flight, Falcon Heavy’s two side cores are both flight-proven. One launched the Thaicom 8 satellite in May 2016 and the other supported the CRS-9 mission in July 2016.

Following booster separation, Falcon Heavy’s two side cores will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zones 1 and 2 (LZ-1 and LZ-2) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. Falcon Heavy’s center core will attempt to land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The payload for Falcon Heavy’s demonstration mission is SpaceX CEO and Lead Designer Elon Musk’s midnight-cherry Tesla Roadster. Demonstration missions like this one typically carry steel or concrete blocks as mass simulators, but SpaceX decided it would be more worthwhile to launch something fun and without irreplaceable sentimental value: a red Roadster for the red planet. Following launch, Falcon Heavy’s second stage will attempt to place the Roadster into a precessing Earth-Mars elliptical orbit around the sun.
Shuttle's Boosters Recovered in HD

NASA has released the first ever up-close, high-definition video of Kennedy Space Center's solid rocket booster (SRB) recovery ships retrieving SRB segments from the Atlantic Ocean following a space shuttle launch. The unprecedented video is from the launch of the most recent shuttle mission, STS-133, Discovery's final flight, on Feb. 24. Following each space shuttle launch, crew members of Liberty Star and Freedom Star pull the spent boosters out of the ocean and return them to Hangar AF at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Once they are processed, the boosters are transported to Utah, where they are refurbished and...

Falcon Heavy and the Tesla Roadster Orbits, A Prediction

[Update: The roadster ended up going into a more eccentric orbit than predicted in this video, making it considerably further out than Mars orbit!] Clearing up some misconceptions about transfer orbits I've seen floating around (get it?) in the discussion of the Falcon Heavy and its Tesla Roadster payload. Also logging my prediction about where the roadster will end up. Any predictions, opinions, speculation or errors in this video are my own and do not reflect the views of any other party.

Why it took 5 years for the Falcon Heavy to fly

Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy models and renderings from Oli Braun - find him on twitter - Falcon Heavy. It’s ALMOST HERE! When it flies, it will be the most powerful and highly anticipated rocket of the 21st century. SpaceX will be attempting the ultimate feat in rocketry, strapping three orbital class boosters together to form a heavy lift vehicle. As if that weren’t enough, the Falcon Heavy will be attempting to land ALL THREE of its massive first stages boosters, two by land one by sea. SpaceX first announced the Falcon Heavy in 2011 saying the vehicle would be...

Castle Island Proves Definitively Passenger Airplanes aren't landing at speeds we are taught!

Castle Island Proves Definitively Passenger airplanes aren't landing at speeds we are taught! I went to Castle Island in Boston to watch some airplanes. I was able to calculate speed by known objects nearby the airport including the airport itself. Please look at this evidence within this video. I was there for 4 hours and got a lot of proof that 737 planes aren't traveling at landing speeds we are told. I also did not see any A-380 or Dream liners while spending 4 hours at Castle Island. To me this it's conclusive that we are lied to about the travel...

Naked Science - Colliding Continents

Subscribe to Naked Science - Every other Wednesday we present a new video, so join us to see the truth laid bare... How were the continents formed? We walk over them without a second thought, but where did the land beneath our feet come from? We go back in time to the oldest rocks on earth, to see how the first continents formed on our fledgling planet. We see how continents are just lighter rocks, floating on a layer of denser molten rock, the mantle. Travelling to the bottom of the Grand Canyon we follow the process of erosion and sedimentation...

Google Earth Is Lying

What If All You knew about Earth, Your Country, Your State, Your City and Your Neighborhood was a Lie?!?! A few years ago you could find sources other than GOOGLE for maps, distances, travel times and more. But now it seems GOOGLE controls it ALL. So How Do you Beat Them when they own the game? You have to get down and dirty and put in hundreds of hours of research and use THEIR Lies Against THEM!

The Biggest Rocket ever Designed? - The Sea Dragon

In the history of space, one rocket stands out as an icon of not only the space race but of the mighty power it symbolised. Patreon : : You can now translate this and other curious droid videos, see my video about it here At 1:00 there is a spelling mistake showing the payload as 1,1000,000lb this, of course, should be 1,100,000 lbs. That one rocket, which is still the Tallest, heaviest and most powerful ever built, was the Saturn V, which was designed to take men to the moon and later launched the first American Space station, Skylab. But...

Elon Musk wants to go to the Moon!!

Elon Musk wants to go to the Moon!! Elon Musk hopes to see manned Moon outpost before Humans set foot on the Red Planet. Even though Elon’s focus is Mars, he also sees the imperative in human returning to the Moon. "To really get the public real fired up, I think we've got to have a base on the moon," Elon Musk said at the International Space Station Research and Development (ISSR&D) conference in Washington, D.C. "Having some permanent presence on another heavenly body, which would be the kind of moon base, and then getting people to Mars and beyond —...

Will the Falcon 9 actually be reusable or just refurbish-able like the Space Shuttle?

The Falcon 9. The world’s FIRST reusable rocket. Wait. No it’s not. Do you remember the Space Shuttle? It had those solid rocket boosters and the orbiter, which were both reusable weren’t they? Well, today we’re going to talk about why the Space Shuttle failed to actually be reusable and wound up being described with a more accurate word, refurbish-able. People often cite the shortcomings of the Space Shuttle and are quick to point it to SpaceX’s claims of the Falcon 9 booster being reusable. So today we’re going to look at what it took to get the space shuttle operational...

Elon Musk on how Falcon Heavy will change space travel

SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida yesterday carrying its first payload -- a red Tesla roadster -- into orbit. Loren Grush spoke to CEO Elon Musk about the launch and what this means for the future of space travel, as well as Planetary Society CEO Bill Nye. The Falcon Heavy now holds the title for the world’s most powerful rocket, and its launch marks the first time a vehicle this massive has ever been sent up by a commercial company. Can SpaceX Reuse a second stage?

SpaceX makes first stage recovery and reuse look routine these days. In March, Elon Musk said he wants to start trying to recover and reuse the second stage... Compilation of crazy crowd reactions to twin Falcon Heavy booster landing.

This is the closest thing you'll see today to people witnessing an alien spaceship landing. "Following liftoff, the two side boosters separate from the center core and return to landing sites for future reuse. The center core, traveling further and faster than the side boosters, also returns for reuse, but lands on a drone ship located in the Atlantic Ocean." Stay up to date and subscribe, I promise I'll keep it interesting:

Tesla Roadster + Starman in Space, Orbiting Earth

Spending some time waiting for the boost that will move him to his final orbit. Starman is listening to David Bowie's "Life on Mars" but Youtube will mute it if I try adding that to this video. So, instead it's now "Mystery Sax" by Kevin MacLeod, another fantastic earth-based genius whom I'd like to thank for being so generous as to let people use his music for stuff like this. This video is played at 4x the speed from the live feed. Reference link:,

SpaceX rockets vs NASA rockets

Part 1 that focuses on the relationship, history and differences is here, you should watch this first so you have context before this video! - One of the questions I get asked most often is “Who do you like better NASA or SpaceX” Although I don’t think it’s fair to compare a government agency to a private company in general, there is one thing we can truly compare apples to apples. Or shall I say rockets to rockets. And that’s rockets. Wait. (derp) So in this video we’re going to look at some rockets past, present and future from SpaceX and NASA...

SpaceX Falcon 9 Booster with Max Damage Returns to Launch Complex 39A

The SpaceX Falcon 9 booster that lofted JCSAT-14 to Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) on May 6 is now back at SpaceX's hangar at Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The rocket booster was moved on Saturday May 14 and towed at 10 mph through Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The shots I have show the damage the booster sustained. It is clear that this booster received the maximum damage out of the three that SpaceX brought back to the Cape. The payload reached a final altitude of about 36,000 km (~22,400 miles) and the rocket landed on...

Uninterrupted Footage of the Falcon Heavy Launch and Booster Landing! 2-6-18

Continuous close up footage of the first Falcon Heavy launch, carrying Elon Musk's midnight cherry Tesla Roadster and Starman. Filmed with an 8" LX200 Classic and Canon T5i. Tracked using custom TeleTrak software. Thanks to everyone there who helped make this video possible today! Enhanced version of this video:

When Falcon Heavy lifts off, it will be the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two. With the ability to lift into orbit nearly 64 metric tons (141,000 lb)---a mass greater than a 737 jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel--Falcon Heavy can lift more than twice the payload of the next closest operational vehicle, the Delta IV Heavy, at one-third the cost. Falcon Heavy's first stage is composed of three Falcon 9 nine-engine cores whose 27 Merlin engines together generate more than 5 million pounds of thrust at liftoff, equal to approximately eighteen...

Rockets Do Not Go To Space - Audio of Eyewitness Account

THOUSANDS OF ROCKETS FOUND IN THE OCEAN: THE AUDIO IN THIS CLIP IS MY FOCUS NOT THE VIDEO - CLEARLY. There is no HD video of a rocket going all the way to space or coming back from space from ground based observers. This alone tells the tale of fake rocket launches which have gone on since the 1960s. People are waking up and going out to challenge the lies and in this case lies we all paid for. Rockets do no go to space; they land in the ocean or well out of view of the public that...

Falcon Heavy Pictures, Fully Assembled and the Tesla Roadster

SpaceX’s preparations for Falcon Heavy’s first Launch looks like it’s well on its way. Elon Musk has shared incredible pictures this past week showing us the Heavy’s full assembly for the first time! There isn’t anything new to talk about since my last video about the Falcon Heavy; I just want to briefly talk about the pictures that Elon Musk shared recently because they are awesome, so if you are looking for more than that, you have been warned! After seeing these pictures, I am so pumped for the Heavy’s first launch because watching a computer generated animation and pictures do...

Watch SpaceX Launch A Tesla Roadster To Mars On The Falcon Heavy Rocket — And Why It Matters

SpaceX just launched a Tesla Roadster to Mars on this: SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket.  This was the Falcon Heavy's maiden flight. It's the launch that everyone's been waiting for. The Falcon Heavy is a monster.  It has 27 engines, can generate more power than 18 747 jumbo jets, and is the most powerful rocket to fly since NASA's moon rocket, the Saturn V. Making it the most powerful functioning rocket on Earth. This is one of SpaceX's most difficult launches. Musk even said "Just bear in mind that there is a good chance this monster rocket blows up." But it didn't! Even though this was a test...
